From 3 till 29 September 2024, you can meet a special Beech tree in the Sonian Forest. Via a QR code at a picnic bench opposite the tree, you are invited to look at the tree as if it were a work of art. Using sensors we placed in the tree, we try to make visible in an artistic way what remains otherwise hidden from the human eye: the movement of the trunk, the CO2 and water supply, the temperature in the air and at the roots. You can also catch a glimpse of the installation via a screen in the hall of GC Wabo in Boitsfort.
