Workshop in ESAAA Annecy, Master Terrain

At the invitation of artist and professor Aniara Rodado, An, along with Sarah Garcin, will lead the AI ​​Forest, Permacomputing, and Technoresistance workshop at ESAA Annecy from December 1st to 4th, 2025. They will explore ecologically responsible computing practices. The workshop will offer an immersion in forest-inspired methodologies to consider Artificial Intelligence in a situated and sustainable way. Participants will experiment with low-tech tools and collective approaches. The workshop will emphasize energy sobriety, living narratives, and non-extractive networks. It will encourage a more dissenting approach to technology and invite students to question and reinvent their tools.
